Title: "Hum Along Cassidy Twins"

I look back at my brother's and my rise to stardom and I wish we had handled things differently. Unless you have been living on Mars, you certainly remember the humming sensation that captivated the country in the late 80's - yes - my brother and I comprised "Hum Along Cassidy". I mean we had real talent. My brother and I could not even go to Temple without being mobbed by hordes of adoring fans. Our national dance show, "Hum Till You Drop," was the highest rated Nickelodeon series at the time and remains extremely popular in syndication. While I am happy with the royalty checks that I still receive from our humming albums, I hold deep resentment toward my brother for prematurely ending our careers. Chris, my lame brother, let stardom go to his head and it destroyed his life and our career. Our demographic was in Top 40 humming and Chris, on his stardom power trip, thought that he knew more than our producers and decided to lead us into the fray of death metal humming. Well, the death metal set did not take to two Jewish kids humming their tunes and we were rejected. In fact, during a show in Bakersfield, the crowd rushed the stage and spray painted Chris's sequin outfit with black paint. We learned that death metal fans are not very sensitive and they taunted Chris when he started crying. Our career has never recovered.
